Am I not loyal? Am I not good? Am I not pure?
Do I even hold the lamp that you offer to give light?
I need to be reassured.
Am I doing anything right?
I need feedback, why don't I hear from you?
I feel like I'm pulling all the weight, but I know that's not true.
You test those who do right.
But am I even worthy of a test?
Am I even pleasing in your sight?
God, my mind needs rest.
I'm constantly at battle,
And I can finally see the shore.
But I cannot find the paddle as I hear the waves roar.
Breathe, and send the wind.
Guide me to land.
Give me the faith to know
That simply believing is all you demand.
Faith is the key to waliking in rest.

When life's demands seem too hard to meet,
Look up at His face, you're sitting at His feet.
He won't give you more than you can withstand;
all things are possible, His plan is so grand.
so when things get hard and life gets tough,
Remember He said His grace is enough.
